Live music should be for everybody. We prioritize sharing accessibility info and creating spaces where everyone feels safe, informed, and included. We're working to remove digital, physical, and social barriers that get in the way.

We’re a brand-new project, so our site is always improving. If you can’t find the information you need here, please reach out via our contact page. We’re happy to help!
In the top right corner of the page click “Promote a Show.” Fill the required fields and any other information that helps people find and enjoy your event. Once completed click “Publish” and our team will review and post your event in 1-2 days.
check your email and social media messages for “GigPit” If you haven't received a link from us to claim your account. If not, please send us an email and we can start the activation process. Once you’ve claimed your account you can change your profile, update and add links, and edit events that your band is playing.
If you create an account and sign in you can save events for easy access on your home page under “Saved Events”
The best way to get more info about a show, especially small independent bands, is to reach them on Instagram or Facebook as that's usually where bands and promoters are the most responsive. For venues its usually best or call or email.

Events posted on our site are categorized by mood instead of genre as artists at a show usually perform an array of genres. Moods are an umbrella to catch multiple genres. the mood filters are on the event page to help you decide if you want to chill at a mellow event or go buck wild at a heavy event. To see the genres by artist, you can click on an artists page and see what genre their music is.
To spread the word about an exciting upcoming event or to invite friends, navigate to the event page and there is a “Share Show” Button
There is not yet a mobile app, but we’ve put a lot of work into making our website nice to use on your phone. So, definitely book mark our page and check it out on your phone! If an app would be helpful for you please reach out and we would love to discuss making one.
Navigate to our “Artists” page and start exploring new artists making new music right here in Victoria.
Currently Events are only for Victoria and they can be filtered by mood, date and price range.
If you create an account (in the top right of every page) you can save shows for easy access on your home page. In addition when you’re logged in you can get announcements for new features when they are released.
We will do our best to update events, but there are no notifications at this time. Please reach out to organizers, bands, or venues for up to date information on the events. If you navigate to a band playing the shows artist profile you can find their social media and contact information there.

Our team posts events daily, but the calendar is crowd sourced - largely driven by user contributions. If you find a show missing please post it and promote local live music for free!
