Sleepcircle

Sleepcircle is a five-piece heavy rock band based in Vancouver, BC. Geography has had an undeniable influence on the group, drawing inspiration from the forefathers of rock and grunge. Combining this foundation with modern rock sensibilities has spawned a truly unique sound that will lead rock into its next evolution. Formed in early 2014, the lineup has consisted of brothers Andrew and Paul Wilson on drums and guitar respectively, Ian Lavery on bass, and Kavian Iranzad on guitar. The addition of Jake Touzel on lead vocals has completed their dynamic sonic palette. With past releases “Dead Wait” (2017 EP) and “From the Heavens, Through the Window” (2019 LP) under their belts, the band has recently released a new EP, “Strange Life” (2020 EP), the first record to feature Touzel on vocals. After a sold-out hometown release show, the world shut down due to COVID-19. This derailed the British Columbian tour plans that were to follow the release, but Sleepcircle has continued to double down and work harder than ever before, despite the global pandemic. Their new EP “RENEGADE” was completed in several safe, socially distanced recording sessions and is due for release in March 2021.
