What happens when you grow up pissed off, angry, and emotional? You turn it into noise?Gadfly was formed by Homa and Nigel . It’s a bilingual, genre obliterating scream in the face of erasure, repression, and whatever fake shit the scene is selling.It’s not punk. It’s not metal. It’s not shoegaze. It’s not indie.It’s all of it chewed up and spit back out with distortion and disgust.Think: a loud, sketchy basement show with nihilistic lyrics and a full-blown meltdown.Think: sweating through trauma in Farsi and English.Think: grief and rage slamming into a strobe light at the same time….And this is just the beginning.
